Two recruits decommit from Fresno State

Three-star safety Justin Wafer and two-star athlete Javon McInnis both decommitted from Fresno State on Wednesday.

Fresno State's 2017 recruiting class was up to 14 commits after Ronnie Rivers committed earlier this week, but is now back down to 12 after two decommitments.

Three-star safety Justin Wafer of Los Angeles (Calif.) Augustus Hawkins High School announced Wednesday morning that he was reopening his recruitment.

Wafer holds offers from Boise State and Ball State, as well as offers from the previous coaching staffs at Nevada and San Jose State. He previously committed to Fresno State on Sept. 22.

Another commit, Javon McInnis of Irving (Texas) Ranchview High School decommitted Wednesday afternoon.

McInnis holds offers from Stephen F Austin and Texas A&M - Commerce.
