"Fresno State is my favorite. It's close to home," Cotta said. "I'd commit. I'm ready to commit. I'll commit, even I-AA school. I just want to play. I want to play college ball."
"Utah has been sending me stuff about their spring schedules and other stuff," Cotta said.
He says he just has not been noticed and he just has to keep at it. He impressed the Scout.com officials on hand in San Francisco. Cotta caught the ball well and he says he practiced with running backs at the combine.
"I caught all the passes," Cotta said. "I was performing. But I always need to improve. I could have done a lot better."

Cotta attended the Nike combine in Hayward back in February. He did well but he was not impressed with his forty-time (5.0). He improved his time in San Francisco (4.84). He was happy with it, despite, what he said, was a slippery artificial surface.
Here's how Cotta tested in San Francisco:
Cotta wasn't the only player from Los Banos in San Francisco.
Cotta will attend the Nike Camp at Stanford later this month. He reports a 3.0 GPA and scored an 1140 on his first attempt at the SAT. He says he was unhappy with his score and plans to take it again.
