NorCal DE is Fresno Bound

Fresno State wasted no time replacing the spot vacated by recent de-commit Malik Jackson. A giant defensive end from Northern California took his official visit to Fresno State this month, and his high school coach tells BarkBoard.com he gave the ‘Dogs a verbal commitment.

Fairfield (Calif.) Rodriguez DE Marcel Jensen (6-7, 220) is a very intriguing prospect to say the least. At 6-7, he also stars on the Mustang basketball team averaging 8.3 ppg and 8.7 rpg. He took his official visit to Fresno State January 18-20, and made his pledge to the Bulldogs.

"Yes he has verbaled to Fresno State," Mustang Head Coach David Fishleigh told BarkBoard.com via email.

Jensen recorded 35 tackles including two sacks in 2007.

BarkBoard.com will have a full feature on Jensen in the near future.
