Jacob Robertson commits to GS

Big Time In State WR taking his skill set to Paulson Stadium

Jacob Robertson is a towering 6'2 WR from Woodward Academy HS in GA.  He plays for a powerhouse program and just recently decided Georgia Southern was where he wanted to spend his next 4-5 years.

We caught up with Robertson for his take on why Georgia Southern?  "Well I was on campus for twice one for the homecoming game and one to see the campus itself - I just loved the atmosphere and the vibe I got, Robertson said."

Robertson had offers from around the country including Pitt, Duke, Tennessee, and Kentucky but he said it was all about a feeling that led him to Georgia Souther, "I like the coaching staff the most I feel comfortable with them and I had about 19 offers but I didn't feel the same comfort level with those programs.

Now that recruiting is out of the way and Woodward Academy's season ending at the state semifinal game, Robertson has time to reflect on his season but also prepare for the future as a College WR in the Sunbelt Conference, "It feels good to know we accomplished a lot in high school and now to go to a great school like Georgia Southern it's an honor, Robertson mentioned."

With Georgia Southern bringing in the best recruiting classes in it's history the last 2 cycles - Robertson promises to be a key figure in those plans.
