Johnson and his teammates are currently 6-4 on the season. "We have wrapped up a playoff spot and will be playing that game at home to start the playoffs." Beforethe playoffs begin,Ed White has two games remaining on the regular season schedule.
Johnson is having a successful senior season. "I feel I've had a good season," said Johnson. "One game ago I feeI I had the best game of my career." Johnson feels his senior year is really coming together.
There hasn't been much new news about Johnson's recruitment and there is a good reason for that. "To be honest, nothing has really changed since about June."
Kaleb is not ready to name a favorite right now. "I am just looking at what schools are recruiting me and I want to be a part of a good recruiting class and have strong players come in with me."
In spite of not having a favorite, Johnson does have one school that is recruiting him the hardest. "Georgia Tech is recruiting me harder than any school out there and they tell me how much they want me up there." Johnson recently talked with Georgia Tech offensive line coach Mike Sewak. "He said they had a spot for me and all the coaches on the staff really want me to be a part of the Yellow Jacket team."
Johnson plans to take at least three official visits before he makes his college choice. "I want to compare some schools and see how I fit in at those schools."
Although he hasn't set up any dates for his official visits, Johnson knows of two schools he wants to visit. "I want to go to Louisville and Georgia Tech on my officials." Johnson's mom wants him to go to Tech for an official and Kaleb also likes them so that will be one of his officials. "I talked with Coach Sewak and he mentioned the second week in December as a date for the official visit and both my mom and I are looking forward to it."
Kaleb is also thinking about making the trip to Atlanta for the Miami game. "I will have to call Coach Sewak and see about coming up there."
