Wezley Ealey made the trip to Atlanta this past weekend with his teammate Darion Moody for the Georgia Tech-Miami game. "It was a good experience and I really liked the atmosphere." Moody also has an older brother that originally accepted a scholarship to Georgia but off the field issues saw his scholarship offer withdrawn..
The trip to Georgia Tech was the second for Ealey. "I was also there for their homecoming game with Virginia." Wezley spent some time with the coaches on this trip. "They told me to keep working and they would be in touch with me."
Having an older brother at Georgia doesn't necessarily mean Wezley will be following in his footsteps. "He said for me to make a name for myself."
Thus far Georgia Tech is the one school that has been recruiting Ealey. Wezley plays on both sides of the ball at Emanuel County. "I play both running back and linebacker." At 5'8"-180, Georgia Tech is looking at him as an A Back.
With his brother playing for Georgia, Wezley has spent some time in Athens. "I was there last summer for a camp and hope to be there again this summer."
Emanuel County has finished the season so Wezley will be spending his time in other areas. "I'll be busy with school and working out."
Playing linebacker at 5'8" -180 has gained Wezley a nickname from his teammates. "My teammates call me "Wez Dog".
