Vad is still enjoying the feeling of making it to the state finals and keeping their undefeated record in place. "We made this our goal to go 16-0 and win the state championship," said Lee. I'm looking forward to putting on that ring." Lee's future teammate Domonique Noble will be playing for his fourth ring. "We're looking forward to bringing our winning ways to Georgia Tech."

The championship game will be played in Wake Forest next Saturday. The game will not be the final one of the season for Lee. "I am playing in the Shrine Bowl the following weekend along with a few other Tech recruits¸" said Lee. "It will be a nice way to start out as teammates before we head to Georgia Tech."

With his team still in the playoffs, Lee could not make it to Atlanta for an official visit with some of his other recruiting classmates. "I'll be coming the second week in January around the 15th." Lee is not sure if any other recruits will be visiting that weekend.

The playoffs have not taken up all of Lee's time. He's also been staying in touch with some prospective recruits. "I've talked with Darian Cooper and he is coming in for a visit in December and he seems to like Tech a lot." Lee is also talking to Stephon Tuitt and Roderick Byers. "I know Tuitt is committed to Notre Dame but I am talking to him even though he seems to be set on Notre Dame." Four of Lee's future teammates are in Atlanta this weekend for their visit. "Byers will also be coming to Atlanta for an official visit."

Lee has been staying in contact with the coaches at Georgia Tech. "Coach Johnson called this morning to congratulate me on the win last night and just to talk." Johnson told Lee that he is looking forward to getting Lee to Georgia Tech.

Look for Vad to continue wearing the number 2, that he made famous at Hillside, when he arrives at Tech this summer. Top Stories
