James Deloach To Attend Junior Day

Defensive end James Deloach is planning on attending Junior Day at Georgia Tech next weekend and is quite excited to get to know more about the campus. While he has attended camps at Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama, only Tennessee and Georgia Tech have extended offers so far to the junior out of Millen, Ga.

"I've been recruited by Coach Sewak so far, and I decided to come to campus for Junior Day next weekend," James Deloach said. Deloach and teammate Jonathan Taylor decided to double their pleasure as they both made the drive to Atlanta Sunday for a short visit even though they'll be returning next weekend.

Speaking of Georgia Tech and Tennessee, Deloach mentioned that those two schools are running a close race at the top of his list, but a lot of ACC schools have garnered his attention so far.

"Being a junior, I'm just trying to see who offers, as Georgia Tech has done," Deloach said.

This will not be the first visit to the Atlanta campus for 6-foot-2, 242-pound defensive lineman out of Jenkins County High School, who said he made it to one of the football team's games in the fall.

"I came to Georgia Tech to watch the game against Miami during the season," Deloach said. "I really liked the atmosphere surrounding the football program, and I enjoyed my visit."

Next weekend, we will see if Deloach's Junior Day visit lays the groundwork for a possible commitment to Georgia Tech down the road.
