The brothers visited Wake Forest, Duke, and North Carolina on their break. "I liked the visit to Wake a lot but their defensive coordinator is no longer with the staff so I'm not sure what is going on with them", said Zack Blaylock. Zack liked what he saw at Wake but the uncertainty of their coaching situation has made it difficult for him to put a read on them.
Daron Blaylock also liked Wake but the coaching situation also clouded the picture for him. "I like them because they are good both in football and with their academics but being a defensive player and them not having a defensive coordinator make it hard to know how you stand with them right now."
The trip to Kentucky came next and was a good one for Zack. "The coaches there were very good to us and said they liked us a lot. I received an offer from them while I was there".
Daron also enjoyed the trip to Kentucky. " The coaches there told me they are recruiting me as an athlete that I could play either safety or linebacker and I really like that idea." Daron also received an offer from Kentucky. "They told us we had an offer since we made the long trip up there and showed interest in them."
Zack and Daron now have two offers. Both offers have come from the Bluegrass State schools Louisville and Kentucky.
Zack and Daron have been staying in contact with Georgia Tech Coach Brian Bohannon. "They told us they like us and they will be watching us at spring practice and that once they see us at practice that we should be receiving an offer from Georgia Tech", said the Blaylocks.
For Zack Georgia Tech and the two Kentucky schools are at the top of his list. Daron has Georgia Tech and Kentucky on his list.
Next up for the brothers will be a trip to Ole Miss. ""Either this up coming weekend or the next we will be going to Ole Miss. After that we will most likely be taking in visits to watch Georgia tech in spring practice and maybe the spring game", said Daron.
The brothers still have plans to make their college choice in the beginning of May.
