Isaac Rochell Gets First Offer from ACC

Eagle's Landing Christian linebacker Isaac Rochell recently received his first verbal offer from Boston College. Isaac talked about getting that first offer and how his school helps their recruits to get noticed.

Isaac Rochell first offer came with some help from one of his high school coaches. "My coach called me into his office and told me that Boston College had offered me a scholarship."

At ELCA Coach Time Luke handles all the recruiting for his players. "He sets up visits with coaches and schools and gets our film to the colleges." Boston College received Rochell's film and offered him. "We can take visits and talk to the coaches on our own but Mr. Luke helps set up most of it."

While he hasn't talked to Coach Joe Speed from Georgia Tech, Rochell knows that he's still getting interest from Speed. "I know that he's talked to my head coach and that Georgia Tech is still interested in me as I am in them."

Rochell hopes to be talking to Speed as well as taking a visit to Georgia Tech. "I am hoping to get over there for their spring game. I just need to find out if I need to be invited or if I can just go."

Isaac has been looking at taking some other visits in addition to the one to Georgia Tech. "We were supposed to go to Auburn for their Junior Day but we had other plans." Rochell is now looking at going to Auburn's spring game.

The interest in Georgia Tech is also shared by Rochell's teammate Keyante Green. "We both like them very much and hope that over the next year and a half that we can learn more about the school and Georgia Tech can learn more about us." Top Stories
