Chris Moody Enjoys Visit to Tech

Henry County, Georgia quarterback Chris Moody made the short trip to Atlanta Saturday to watch the first Georgia Tech scrimmage of spring practice. Moody spent the afternoon with quarterback coach Brian Bohannon watching film from the scrimmage.

Chris Moody described the trip as pretty cool. "I had a chance to watch the scrimmage and I can tell you that the defense was kicking the offense's butt that day. Still the offense had their moments too. I really enjoyed watching the scrimmage."

Following the scrimmage, Moody spent some time with Coach Bohannon."We broke down film and talked about how I would fit into the offense if I came to Georgia Tech. Bohannon quizzed Moody on what he would have done in certain situations. "He also told me that I had great footwork at quarterback and was the ideal person that they were looking for at the position. That was a great feeling hearing that from him."

The visit will result in Moody making a return trip to Georgia Tech. "I enjoyed it so much that I am going back on Wednesday to watch them practice again."

Moody has been talking with former Henry County player Chris Jackson about Georgia Tech. "He tells me how great it is up there and he says the coaches are great. He really wants me and Dalvin (Tomlinson) to come to Tech with him.

Moody also has plans to visit some other schools. "I plan on going to Clemson, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt."

Chris has five offers thus far but is not ready to name a leader. "I have offers from Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and South Carolina."

Moody is also not in a rush to make a decision. "At this time in my process, I plan on waiting until signing day to make my choice. I have a lot of schools I want to learn about and I want to make a sound and solid choice." Top Stories
