Mr. Head was impressed with the school and the practice. "One thing that caught my eye was the sign that 1 in 6 graduates from Georgia Tech go on to become millionaires. As a parent you'd love for your son or daughter to have that chance coming out of college. As for the practice, it was very good. The coaches really ran a tough and good practice. Coach Charles Kelly who would be my sons position coach is very good at teaching his players to play their position. He reminds me a lot of Paris's secondary coach at Buford, Coach Maine."
Mr. Head would be happy as a parent if his son were to attend a school like Georgia Tech. "It is in state and close to home. They have great academics and play great football too. I'm hoping that Georgia Tech will be offering him when he attends their summer camp in June. Coach Kelly says he really likes of what he seeen of Paris on film and wants to see him in action at their high school scrimmage and at their camp."
Paris' thoughts about the trip were similar to his dad's. "I really enjoyed Tech. I got a chance to sit in on team meetings and have a chance to talk with Coach (Charles) Kelly, Coach (Andy) McCollum, and Coach (Al) Groh. All three are great and I feel Coach Kelly and I have bonded well. He has told me to be patient that an offer is really one of me continuing to work hard and for me to come to their summer camp in June. Coach Kelly said he was coming to a couple of my spring practices to see me work with my teammates."
Paris Head has plans to make it to the Georgia Tech camp. "I will do what it takes to get an offer from Georgia Tech."
There are other schools that have entered the recruitment for Paris."I have a few others that I am hearing from a lot. Boston College,Illinois,Vanderbilt, Penn State, Tennessee, Louisiana Tech, and Middle Tennessee State are the ones"
Paris has one offer but feels he's close to getting a few more."I have the one from LA. Tech but Georgia Tech and Illinois are both close to extending offers to me."
The visits will continue for Paris during the spring. "I will be going to Georgia tomorrow and I will also visit, Boston College, Illinois, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and Penn State. Also I will be attending the spring game at Georgia Tech."
