"I got a chance to see the team in action and go through their practice and I liked what I saw. I also had a chance to talk with a few of the coaches like Coach (Andy) McCollum and Coach (Al) Groh. Overall I had a very good time."
Greg Hall also had a chance to talk to some of the defensive linemen. "I basically introduced myself and got to know them some. I enjoyed talking with them. It was good to get to know them."
Georgia Tech is looking at Hall as a defensive end. "When I was talking with Coach McCollum he said they were looking at me as a defensive end or possibly as an outside linebacker." Hall is 6'3"-217 and runs a 4.7 forty.
The trip to Tech may not be the only one for Hall. "I will make a few more trips back to Tech." Four other schools are showing interest in Hall. "Right now I am hearing from LSU, Middle Tennessee, and UNC-Charlotte. Charlotte will open their football program in 2013. "I know the head coach there well and he says he would love to have me as part of their first team ever."
Hall feels that one school is recruiting him harder than the others. "I would have to say that Georgia Tech is recruiting me harder than anyone else right now." Even though Hall feels that Georgia Tech is recruiting him the hardest, he doesn't have a leader at this time. "I have no favorites at this time."
Hall has a good idea about what he'll be looking for when he makes his college choice. "First and foremost it will be academics and then I will look at the coaching staff and see how stable it is. I want to go to a school that I know that the coaches will be there the whole time I am. That is important to me."
The visit to Tech may be the last of the spring for Hall. "Right now I think I am through with spring visits though I might make some more. As far as summer camps are concerned, I am looking at a few and I will see how my spring/summer football schedule is for my high school before I set any camps."
