Gamble No Longer Poker-Faced, Names Leader

Carrollton Central defensive lineman Pat Gamble has five early offers including both in-state schools. He recently made a trip to watch the spring game at Georgia Tech. After that trip, Pat named a leader.

Pat Gamble has seen several schools visit his high school with the start of the evaluation period "Coach (Brian) Bohannon from Georgia Tech stopped by the school to let my coach know that Georgia Tech is still very high on me and they want me to come to Tech He really made me feel wanted "

Last weekend Gamble made the trip to Atlanta for the Georgia Tech spring game "I liked it a lot A lot of intensity and good fan support I got a chance to talk with the coaches again and really enjoyed my time there "

The trip put Georgia Tech as Gamble's leader "I have really made a good bond with Coach Bohannon and Coach (Andy) McCollum They both have stated how much they want me on the defensive line at Georgia Tech and just have shown me how much they care for me I have really made a good connection with them "

Gamble also named a few other reasons why he has Tech as his leader "It is a great school and pretty close to home I've really felt at home when I have made visits there and the connections with all the coaches are stronger than any others I really like what Georgia Tech has to offer "

In addition to the offer from Georgia Tech, Gamble also has offers from Georgia, Virginia, Southern Mississippi, and Illinois

Despite naming a leader, Gamble is not close to making a decision "I feel that my decision will probably come during my senior year, maybe a little earlier "

Gamble will probably spend the summer attending some camps and taking some visits "I will probably be going to some camps but haven't set up anything yet As for visits during the summer, I haven't sat down and decided what or where I want to go for visits just yet " Top Stories
