Josh Manley and his teammates had a great time at the camp. "We went through a lot of drills and used their facilities. Their weight room is very nice and their practice facilities are very nice."
Manley used the trip as an unofficial visit. "I got a chance to talk with Coach (George) O'Leary. He told me that they were building something very good at Central Florida and he very much wanted me to be a part of it." Josh already had an offer before he visited but this reaffirmed everything the coaches have been telling him about the school and about the offer.
Josh's thirteen offers includes two recent ones. "I picked up two offers in the last couple of weeks. I received one from Georgia State yesterday and about a week ago I picked up an offer from Georgia Tech."
Manley has kept in contact with the Georgia Tech coaches. "I speak as much as I can with both Coach (Lamar) Owens and Coach (Andy) McCollum. Coach McCollum tells me how much he would like to have me on the defensive line and how great of a fit I would be in their scheme. He likes the way I handle myself on the defensive line."
The upcoming camp at Georgia Tech may find Manley as a visitor. "It is something that is very doable for me and I would look forward to participating in it."
Don't look for a decision from Manley on a school choice until the end of his senior season. While he's not ready to name a leader, Georgia Tech and Central Florida appear to be at the top of his list.
