Dalvin Tomlinson Starting To Narrow It Down

Henry County defensive end Dalvin Tomlinson made a return trip to Georgia Tech Wednesday afternoon for a more in-depth look at the academics, the player's dorms, and to sit down with head coach Paul Johnson and the defensive staff.

When Dalvin Tomlinson arrived at the football offices at Georgia Tech, he was greeted by Coach Paul Johnson. Dalvin also had a chance to meet with Coach Joe Speed and Coach Al Groh. "Me and Coach Speed get along great." Coach Groh let Tomlinson know that he would be a leader in their defense.

One of the important parts of his visit was a chance to talk to the academic advisors about engineering and business majors. "I got to see the nano-engineering building and the business building and I also got to see the chem lab."

The visit to Georgia Tech was the first visit for Dalvin following his recent visit to Alabama with one of his coaches. "Right now I'm trying narrow down my schools and come up with a top list."

Tomlinson is looking to have his top ten by the end of July. When asked if he had any schools that he felt would make the list, he named three schools. Georgia Tech, Alabama, and Indiana are three that will make the list." Dalvin will continue to take visits once the season begins.

Dalvin will continue to take more visits before he concentrates on his senior season. I'm going to Florida and Central Florida." The visits are likely his last before the season begins.

Tomlinson is looking forward to his senior season. "I'm looking to improve my flexibility, quickness, and I want to help my teammates get scouted by leading the team to a state title."

Look for Dalvin's recruitment to at least continue in to his senior season. He is considering taking all fiveof his visitsbefore he makes his college choice.
