"Both went really well. I enjoyed my time at both but I feel the visit to Florida State was better overall." Jones felt that the Florida State coaches treated him like he was already part of the team. "They showed me a lot more attention in my opinion. Jones liked the overall experience better at Florida State.
Jonathan Jones did not pick up offers on either of his trips. "Florida State says they will be letting me know very soon, like in the next week or so if I am going to get one from them."
Prior to the visits, Jones had a top three of Georgia Tech, Auburn, and Mississippi State. "All three schools are still up there but if I get an offer from Florida State then I will have to look at some things as the offer would put them up there with those three."
The visits to Tennessee and Florida State were the final ones for Jones until he begins taking his official visits. Those visits will be planned once he determines his final list.
Jones will be announcing that list sooner than later. "I will know for sure by the end of this week and not later than the end of next week what my final top schools will be." Those schools will be the ones that will get official visits from Jones.
"The best way I can describe how I will make my choice among all the schools is how comfortable I feel with the coaches and how comfortable I feel on campus and the surrounding area." Jones has made a lot of visits to these schools and his best friend, Broderick Snoddy will be his main source for how things are at Georgia Tech.
Some additional schools have been trying to enter the picture but Jones will focus all his attention on the schools that he's visited.
