Henry County Duo Visits Tech Scrimmage

In recent months, Henry County (Georgia) defensive lineman has been a familiar face on the Georgia Tech campus. He made a return visit this weekend to watch the team scrimmage and he also brought along his new teammate D'Von Isaac. Isaac is a 2013 recruit who recently transferred from Union Grove (Georgia).

The 6'4"-285 D'Von Isaac is a recruit who will be getting attention once Henry County starts their regular season. He and Dalvin Tomlinson have already gotten double team attention in their first scrimmage against Luella (Georgia).

The trip to Georgia Tech was the first for Isaac. "I came out here because I was interested in what Georgia Tech has to offer."

Isaac transferred to Henry County after playing some varsity in the 10th grade at Union Grove. D'Von played on both sides of the in his first scrimmage with Henry County. "I played nose tackle on defense and left and right tackle on offense."

Despite being new at Henry County, Isaac is already beginning to get attention from division one schools. "I'm hearing from Oregon, Auburn, Georgia, and Georgia Tech."

Look for D'Von to attend games at some of these schools once the college season begins. "I'm going to visit schools around my area."

Although he'll only be visiting schools in his area during the season, distance won't be a factor in making his college choice. "As long as the schools can give me a good education and I can communicate with the coaches, distance won't be a factor."

Unlike his new teammate, Tomlinson is getting ready to narrow down his list of offers. The four star defensive lineman knows one school that will make that list. "I've been working on my list and I can tell you that Georgia Tech is in my top."

Tomlinson is not ready to reveal the other schools at this time. He plans on making that announcement during the course of his senior season.

As he's indicated in the past Dalvin may not be ready to make a decision in the near future. That could change if he feels completely comfortable at one of the schools on his favorite's list.

Dalvin still has plans to take all five of his official visits. According to Dalvin, Georgia Tech will get one of those five visits.

Look for Dalvin and D'Von to make return visits to Tech as they inch closer to the beginning of the 2011 season.
