Jordan Neff started his day at Tech with a tour of the basketball facility. "We saw the construction and then photos of what the new arena will look like." Jordan took the tour with Coach Gregory and two of his assistants. "We went to the practice gym, the weight room, and then watched video of the Dayton team."
Following the tour of the basketball facilities, Coach Josh Postorino and Coach Chad Dollar took Jordan and his parents on a tour of the campus. "We saw it all—where the players live, where the students eat, the academic buildings, everything." Jordan had been around Tech a few times, but had never saw the campus like he did this time. "I liked it (Tech) a lot better after seeing it this time."
Jordan finished the visit by meeting with Coach Gregory. "He talked to me and my parents for about an hour about me, my high school program, the Georgia Tech program." Jordan liked Coach Gregory and his style of play. "I like the run and gun offense."
The Georgia Tech staff likes Jordan as a combo shooting guard/small forward. Tech would like to utiliize Neff to post up smaller guards and play on the perimeter.
Neff has plans to make a return visit to the Tech campus. He was invited to come down for an open gym…to get to know the other players on the team and to a football game. "It's a good school and it's definitely up on my list."
Jordan doesn't have an actual list but he does have interest in a number of schools including Clemson and Florida State. "I visited Florida State (on unofficial visit) at their Elite Camp and stayed overnight and participated in an open gym. I'm supposed to go to Clemson this weekend for their Elite Camp for the day on Saturday."
Georgia is another school that is looking to get in the picture. "I will probably go there for an unofficial visit."
Florida State got in the mix through Neff's sister. "I have a sister there on a volleyball scholarship." Jordan has been there a number of times to visit his sister who is a sophomore at Florida State.
With the help of his parents, Jordan is looking to make his college choice before his senior year. In the meantime, Jordan is working on his grades and hopes to have at least a 3.0 GPA.
