While Robert Nkemdiche was a visitor of sorts at Middle Tennessee, he was anxious to see Tech play. Robert went with his friend and quarterback Nick Schuessler from his high school team at Grayson. "I was a visitor of sorts for Middle Tennessee, but I wanted to check out Georgia Tech too as they are a school in which I have a lot of interest"
Nkemdiche saw that MTSU tried to come out and play tough but he came away impressed with Tech. "I know they can run the ball and really eat up the clock. I was very impressed with how good they are when they pass the ball." Tech scored on the first play from scrimmage with a pass to running back Tony Zenon. "You can see that Tech is giving many looks for teams down the road to worry about."
The performance put Tech on the list of schools that are chasing Robert. "Right now they are up there with many teams. I can't say I have a leader but I will say that Georgia Tech is up there with all the other teams on my list."
Robert has a list of 13 schools that he is considering. "Right now Georgia Tech, Alabama, LSU, Florida, Florida State, Ole Miss, Miami, Oregon, Texas, USC, UCLA, Ohio State, and Tennessee make up my list of schools that I like the most."
The list of 13 schools will not be trimmed down anytime soon. "Right now I am very focused on giving my all to my high school team and my teammates. We are undefeated right now and we have a big game coming up this week and I plan on giving my full attention to the game and the rest of the season."
Robert and his teammate will also be taking another trip together. "My high school quarterback wants to go to Florida State this weekend and I plan on going down there with him." Following the visit to Florida State, Robert will probably attend some games like Georgia Tech that are not far from home. "I have a while to go before I make my decision so I plan on getting many visits in before making a decision."
