Jackets Still on Keyante Green's List

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy running back Keyante Green was a visitor at Georgia Tech for the Yellow Jacket's ACC opener against North Carolina. Green was there with his teammate Isaac Rochell. Both are being heavily recruited by Georgia Tech. Keyante addressed the subject of whether or not he was considering Georgia Tech.

The visit to Georgia Tech was a good one for Keyante Green. Keyante spent some time with his recruiting coach, Joe Speed. "He said they are really wanting me as a running back. He wants to set up a meeting with Coach Johnson. He is the man that offers all players on offense." Speed told Green that Coach Johnson wants him as a running back but wants to talk with Green before he extends an offer.

All in all the visit was a positive one for Green. "You could see that Georgia Tech is a powerful offensive team and a running back would love to play in their offense." The visit reinforced Green's view of Georgia Tech and put to rest rumors that he wasn't considering Georgia Tech. They continue to be a team that will get his attention. "They are up there with other teams like Tennessee and Georgia. I really like them and will be considering them as one of the top teams in my recruitment."

Green was considering a trip to South Carolina following the game but didn't make the trip. "We went home after the game." He does have other trips planned during the season. "I know for a fact I will be back at Georgia Tech for their game against Georgia at the end of the season." Keyante also plans on visiting the Tennessee game against Georgia as well as making trips to Auburn and to Gainesville to watch Florida play.

There are a lot of schools in play for Green and he's not ready to announce a favorites list. "I like a lot of teams and I want to find the one that really fits me the best. That is one reason I am making all these visits." Keyante wants to see how the colleges are on game day as compared to his visits to the schools in the off-season.
