"I had an awesome time there and really enjoyed the game. While at the game, Shamire DeVine had a chance to talk with the players and spend some time with the coaches. "The visit just reinforced how much I like Georgia Tech."
The entire visit was a positive time for Devine. "The players really made me feel welcome and the coaches made me feel like family while I was there."
Devine made the short trip to the Tech campus with his teammate Jeremi Hall. Both recruits are still talking about playing together in college. "I am going back to Georgia Tech with Jeremi for the Clemson game and if he goes to Vanderbilt I will probably go with him." Devine and Hall hope their wish to play together in college is a possibility.
The fact that Georgia Tech has offered both Devine and Hall is a plus in their recruitment of the two Tri-Cities players. "That is another reason Georgia Tech is up there for me as they have offered both of us."
Shamire's return trip for the Clemson game may not be his final visit to campus this season. "The coaches have told me I am welcome to come to any home game." Look for Shamire and Hall to also make a visit for the final Tech game with Georgia.
Two SEC schools have begun to step up their recruitment of Devine. Vanderbilt and Georgia are the latest to inrease their interest in Devine. "My recruitment has really picked up lately."
