GT Commit Bolden Tries To Sway Carter

Double team in basketball parlance usually means two players from one team attempting to shut down a player from the opposition. There was a double team of a very different type at Georgia Tech this past weekend.

This double team had great importance. Basketball commits Chris Bolden and Marcus Hunt took their official visits and also did their best to encourage arguably the best senior in the State and also a weekend visitor, Robert Carter (Shiloh) , to join them on next season's version of Coach Brian Gregory's club.

North Gwinnett's Chris Bolden described the weekend visit as great and a lot of fun. "I've known about Robert since I was maybe nine years old and we've gotten better acquainted over the last few years."

Bolden wanted to take his official visit when Carter was also there. "I think Marcus felt the same way." Bolden saw the official visit as a chance to further develop his relationship with Carter. This, even though they talk all the time.

One of the highlights of the official visit was watching the Tech scrimmage. "It was fun and educational to see some of the players including former Tech player Derrick Favors."

Carter has been has stated that he's enjoyed his college visits without being too specific about his feelings. Bolden and Carter both promised to keep in touch. "Honestly, I think he'll go to Tech…I just do."

In addition to getting together with Carter and Hunt, Bolden enjoyed getting a chance to talk to the coaches. "I can really see myself being there next year." Top Stories
