Michael Flint: GT Looking Hard

Oxford High (Alabama) offensive lineman Michael Flint made a return trip to the Flats at Georgia Tech. He was a visitor of the Yellow Jackets as they took on 5th ranked Clemson on Saturday night. This game made a very big impression on Michael and he has moved the Jackets to the top of his list.

Michael Flint described his visit as being great. "It was one of the best games I have been to on a visit during my recruiting process. The atmosphere was fantastic and it was a great place to be on a Saturday night. The fans had the team pumped and the place was loud and rocking."

The highlight of the trip for Flint was watching the fans storm the field after the game. "That was an awesome sight to see and I know the players loved it. I was impressed with the whole thing."

Michael had a chance to speak to offensive line coach Todd Spencer. "He told me that they are taking another lineman and that they are looking at me very hard."

Flint was supposed to bring his most recent film to the game but his coaches needed to get more footage so they e-mailed to the coaches. "Coach Johnson really wants to look at the new film and go from there." Coach Spencer told Flint that he should be hearing from them this week about an offer and where he stands with them.

Even with an offer from Tech, Flint would still like to take all of his official visits following his senior season. "I want to put all my attention into my team and the playoffs. "It is really important to us."

Flint may also take some unofficial visits in addition to his official visits. "I know Georgia Tech will be getting an official visit of the five I get to take. Clemson, West Virginia, and Texas Tech are possible teams that will also get one."

"I know that Georgia Tech is at the top my list right now. I like them very much and will be seeing them again." Michael feels that he owes it to himself to see other schools to be 100% sure. At this time though I consider Georgia Tech as the top team. They have everything I am looking for in a college."
