Sean Spencer is happy with the way things have been proceeding with his recruitment. "I have been hearing from a few schools across the southeast. I'm getting some interest from schools that interest me and I really hope to start hearing from more schools."
Sean has three offers from that group of schools. "I have three offers thus far. The ones that have offered are Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and North Carolina."
Georgia Tech is one of the schools that has been showing interest in Spencer. "I hear from Coach ("Buzz) Preston. We talk and e-mail some from time to time."
There is one school that Spencer feels is recruiting him the hardest right now. "I feel that Ole Miss is recruiting me the hardest at this point." Sean has yet to visit their campus.
Sean did take his first trip this past weekend. "I just got back from a visit to the Tennessee game with South Carolina. It was a great visit and I had a really good time up there." Sean had a chance to talk briefly with defensive line coach Lance Thompson on his visit.
Following his visit to Tennessee, Spencer is now trying to decide what visits he'll take this season. He has several that he's looking at as possible visits. "I am looking to go to the Georgia Tech-Georgia game at the end of the year."
Spencer has a good idea of what he's looking for in a school and which of those factors are most important to him. "In order the factors will be academics, athletics, and how close the schools are to home." Sean is looking for a strong academic and athletic school. "I also want a school that is close to home but not that close."
