DeAngelo Brown visited one of his three favorite schools last weekend when he made the trip to Atlanta for the Georgia Tech-Georgia game. "I had a great time hanging out with the players and coaches and I had a chance to catch up with my good friend Michael Summers." Summers committed to Georgia Tech during the summer.
DeAngelo also had sometime to meet with his position coach and recruiting coach. "I talked with the defensive line coach, Coach (Andy) McCollum, and my recruiting coach, Coach (Lamar) Owens. Both of them really made me feel welcome there and they told me how much they would like to see me at Georgia Tech." Brown and the coaches talked about what would be expected of him if I came to Georgia Tech.
Summers didn't pass up the chance to let his friend know that he'd like to have him be a teammate at Tech. "He did say that he would really love to have me there with him but he knows that the ultimate decision is mine to make." Brown likes the possibilty of playing his college ball with Summers . "We'll have to see how it works out."
Georgia Tech, Louisville, and South Florida will be the three schools that Brown will be looking at in making his decision. "I have offers from all three and will be setting up official visits to all of them and make my decision from those visits."
Brown has not decided when he'll be taking his official visits to those schools. "Right now I am concentrating on winning the next game in our season. We are really focusing on our play off run and everything else right now as far my recruitment goes will have to wait until my senior season is over."
Once the season is over, Brown will be sitting down with his family and the coaches from the three schools toset up the official visits. Right now DeAngelo is planning on making his decision in January. "It will be some time after the officials are set and taken before I can decide."
