The visit ws a good one for Jones. "It went great. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. I had a chance to do a lot and really enjoyed my time there."
Jones started his trip by meeting with coaches. The coaches showed Jones how he would fit in the offense and how they would use him. Jones is being recruited to play the A-back position in Tech's offense.
"They then took us on a tour of the campus and we had a chance to speak with the academic advisers there. They told us what is expected of a student-athlete at Georgia Tech and what it takes to be a student at the school." The meeting with the advisers showed Jones how important an education can be.
Despite not getting an offer from Tech, Jones is still very high on Tech. "The visit was great and it showed me everything I wanted to know and just cemented my feeling about Tech."
Miles will now decide if he will take any additional official visits. "I may take some official visits but I'm not sure where or when they will be." Some other schools Jones is looking at are Maryland, Georgia, and Middle Tennessee State. If Jones gets the offer he hopes to get from Tech, it could lead to a commit. "I possibly could but I know a lot can happen in two weeks this late in my recruitment."
