The 2012 recruit out of Central High School in Carrollton, Ga. gave his verbal commitment to the Yellow Jackets back in early June, so the visit was a good refresher for him when it came to student life and getting comfortable with the campus."It was all good – I felt like family," Gamble said about the weekend visit.
The senior had a chance to tour the campus and see the various schools the university has to offer and also had the chance to talk academics while checking out the facilities. Freshman offensive lineman Bryan Chamberlain hosted Gamble for the weekend.
Gamble said Chamberlain showed him a good time, and he was also excited to speak with Vad Lee and other current players.
There were other recruits who joined Gamble on campus this weekend for official visits, and some weren't committed to the Yellow Jackets at the time of their visit. This gave Gamble a chance to give advice to the recruits who hadn't made a final decision yet.
"I just told them that I hope they choose Tech, but I wished them good luck with whatever decision they make, Gamble said.
As far as Gamble's decision to commit to Georgia Tech goes, he said he is still only focused on the Yellow Jackets and plans to stand strong to his commitment.
