Lynn Griffin previously had a list of five schools that he was considering. Nothing has changed on that list. "Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern, Troy, Middle Tennessee State, and Miami are the five schools." North Carolina has recently begun to show interest in Griffin. "They have mentioned something about offering me in the near future."
The next visit for Griffin will be to Georgia Tech on the 21st. "I've talked with the coaches and had everything set up and my transcripts will get to them on the 17th." Griffin's transcripts will be the most recent grades from the past semester. "I feel good about everything going on with the coaches at Georgia Tech."
Griffin has not had any contact with the Tech coaches as NCAA "dead period" has been in effect. He has talked with his recruiting coach Lamar Owens as well as his defensive backs position coach Charles Kelly.
Lynn is looking forward to the Georgia Tech visit on the 21st. "I feel that if Coach Johnson extends that offer I will commit to him that weekend. There is a very good chance that I would go ahead and commit. It would be a great start to the New Year and basically end my recruitment."
At the present time, Griffin has one more visit planned in addition to the Georgia Tech visit. "Right now Georgia Tech on the 21st and Troy on the 28th are my last two official visits I have planned."
Now that he has finished his senior season, Griffin is staying in shape as a member of the track team. "I plan on competing in the long jump and triple jump field events and I will also run the 400."
For now, Lynn will wait to see if his transcripts are cleared leading to a possible offer from Georgia Tech.
