Charlie Miller To Visit Georgia Tech

Vero Beach, Florida wide receiver Charlie Miller has a new school that he is giving serious consideration. The renewed interest from Georgia Tech will bring Miller to Atlanta for an official visit and a possible offer.

Charlie Miller received a phone call from Georgia Tech receivers coach, "Buzz" Preston inviting him to come to Atlanta for an official visit. "He told me that they have a wide receiver leaving early for the NFL and that they now have a possible opening at wide receiver. He asked me to come up for an official visit so we could see the school first hand and sit down and talk with the coaches there."

Charlie is considering two possible dates for his visit. "I will try to make it on the weekend of the 13th but I have a basketball game that Friday evening". If he is unable to visit on the 13th, Miller will visit on the 28th. "I am definitely coming in for an official visit."

The possibility of Miller receiving an offer will be discussed on his visit. "Coach Preston says that they are very interested in me and I let him know the interest is mutual."

An offer from Georgia Tech could put them in Miller's top two. "They would be up there with Central Florida. Miller would then sit down and look at each school to see which one would be the best fit.

Miller currently has five offers. "The schools that offered me are Central Florida, Minnesota, Iowa State, Northern Illinois, and FAU." Of those schools, Central Florida is his favorite.

Charlie will be holding off on his decision until after he takes his visit to Georgia Tech. "I have been talking with Coach Preston since the middle of my high school season and we have formed a real good relationship and I like what I have seen and know of Georgia Tech.

Miller will make that visit to Georgia Tech and then see how things shake out from there. Top Stories
