Isaac Rochell Getting To Know Schools

Eagles Landing Christian Academy linebacker Isaac Rochell has just completed a successful junior season that included being named to the Georgia Class A all-state team and playing in the Georgia Bowl. Rochell will now concentrate on getting to know some of the schools that are recruiting him.

Isaac Rochell is getting attention from schools in both the North and the South. Isaac is hearing from schools in the North like Purdue, Illinois. "Clemson, Georgia Tech, and Vanderbilt are some other ones that are keeping in touch with me as well."

Clemson is one of those schools that is showing him a lot of interest. "They are a team that I am interested in." Rochell is aware that Clemson seems to be getting a lot of the top recruits. "I know I will be attending their Junior Day on the 28th of this month."

In addition to Clemson, Isaac is drawing a lot of interest from Georgia Tech. "Coach (Joe) Speed was by my school the week we got out for Christmas break. He stays in contact with me as he can and keeps me informed on what is going on with their interest in me."

Georgia Tech will probably be another school where Isaac will be attending a Junior Day. "I haven't gotten the exact date of their Junior Day." Rochell plans to attend their Junior Day if it doesn't fall on the same day as Clemson's.

Rochelle likes the fact that Georgia Tech is only twenty five miles from home. He also likes the caliber of football played at Tech. "I have built a good relationship with the coaches there and I like the team. So I am really considering them as my recruiting starts to gear up."

Vanderbilt and Oklahoma are two other schools that have recently been in touch with Rochell. "Vanderbilt sent one of their coaches to come by and see me the same week Coach Speed was at my school." Rochell feels like his recruiting is starting to really take off.

Isaac has also begun to think about which spring games he'll attend. He hasn't made a definite decision on which ones he'll attend. "Tech is close by so I feel they probably will be one that I will attend."

Rochell is staying in shape in the off season as a member of his school's track team. "I know I will be throwing the discus and shot put and my coach wants me to run the 400 and possibly the 800. Isaac feels he'll do all that with the possible exception of the 800. Top Stories
