Will Adams Has A Blast On Visit

Offensive lineman Will Adams, who committed to the Yellow Jackets in late-July, made a trip to Atlanta over the weekend to get a better feel for student life and the life of a Georgia Tech football player.

"It was an awesome trip – I had a blast," Will Adams said, who admitted he was anxious about finally getting to meet some of the football players.

The offensive tackle out of Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Ga. had a lot of good things to say about his weekend on the Flats, including his excitement for hanging out in the dorms with some of the current and future Yellow Jackets. Fellow offensive lineman commit Chase Roberts was nearby for most of the trip, and Adams was hosted by current players Will Jackson and Morgan Bailey.

"They did a great job with us," Adams said about his hosts.

Getting to tour the campus and see every facet of student life – from seeing the dorms and classrooms to seeing the workout rooms and football fields – was very important to Adams. Additionally, visiting with the coaches who have recruited him all along was beneficial for tying up loose ends.

"From the last time I talked with Coach Sewak and Coach Johnson, there's nothing new," Adams said. "I just wanted to make sure there were no untied issues."

After a solid visit to the school where he is committed, Adams said he feels confident heading into Signing Day that he has crossed all the T's and dotted all the I's he needs to become a Yellow Jacket. He said he plans to wait until Signing Day to make everything officially official, but his final visit to Georgia Tech answered all his final questions about the school.
