Schools Want Chocolate Covering Receivers

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina defensive back Chocolate Wilson is beginning to receive attention from schools around the South. That attention brings invitations from those schools to attend their Junior Days. One of those schools is Georgia Tech.

Chocolate Wilson was scheduled to attend Junior Day at Georgia Tech but a transportation problem forced him to miss the trip. "This was one trip I was looking forward to making." Chocolate now plans to make an upcoming trip to Atlanta to visit Georgia Tech. "I really wanted to be there and it is disappointing to not make trip. I am definitely making the second trip."

Clemson will be another school that will be getting a visit from Wilson. "I am going to Clemson on March 3rd and I will be going to the Florida Friday Night Lights camp."

Some of the top programs in the South are showing interest in Chocolate. "Right now I am hearing a lot from Florida, Georgia Tech, Clemson, South Carolina, and Kentucky to name a few."

"Georgia Tech, Clemson, and Kentucky are ones that are recruiting me very hard. Chocolate talks to those three on a regular basis as well as receiving mail from them.

All the schools recruiting Wilson like him at the same position. "All the schools that are recruiting me are recruiting me as cornerback; especially the field corner position."

Wilson is known as a strong cover corner and he uses his speed as an asset at the corner. Chocolate also knows that there are some things he needs to work on during his senior season."I really want to work on my open field tackling the most."

Coach Mike Sewak is Chocolate's recruiting coach at Georgia Tech. "He is very cool guy and we get along very well. I really like talking with him."

When it comes time to make his college choice, Wilson will be taking a close look at his relationship with the coaches at each school. "The atmosphere at the school and how I get along with the players is also important." Wilson also wants to find a school that can give him an excellent education. Top Stories
