Harrison is commitment plans private but he does have a favorite. "Georgia Tech is at the top of my list of schools I have remaining."
Butker continues to look at all the schools that are recruiting him. He wants to make sure which schools need a kicker. He hopes to start as a freshman. "I will go to college with the mindset that I want to start as a freshman and not wait until my Junior year to start." Being able to contribute to his team's success is important to Harrison.
Having a chance to watch Georgia Tech at one of their spring practices left an impression on Butker. "I watched how their special teams coach really spent every minute of practice with the kickers when he wasn't working on the full special teams squad. He was coaching them up and that was awesome." Seeing that was a big plus for Georgia Tech.
Georgia Tech Coach Lamar Owens has also visited Harrison at his school. "Coach Owens came by and talked to my coach about me and our wide receiver Cameron Stewart."
Before he makes his decision, Harrison wants to attend the summer camps for the schools that are recruiting him. "I want to show what I can do and get to know the coaches at each school better." Harrison is looking to make his decision following those camps.
Harrison also plays for his school's soccer team. They are currently in the Georgia high school playoffs. Will he also have an interest in playing soccer in college? "I will concentrate only on football when I get to college. Whether the college has a soccer program or not will not matter."
