Georgia Tech Baseball Hits Their Stride

The Georgia Tech baseball team was rewarded for their ACCT Championship run by being sent to the Gainesville regional in a group that includes the nation's number one seed Florida.

Coach Danny Hall has led the Jackets to the tournament in 17 of his 19 years at Georgia Tech. Since 1985, only two teams have gone to the tournament more than Georgia Tech - Miami and Florida State. Both schools have been to the tournament 28 times.

The Jackets enter the regionals with a 36-24 record having won 5 consecutive games. All those wins were over ranked ACC opponents. The championship win over Miami helped the Jackets crack the USA Today top 25 at #24 heading into the regional.
