Chase Dutra Wants Opportunity At Georgia Tech

Brownsburg, Indiana receiver Chase Dutra has seen his recruitment steadily pick up since the beginning of June. There is a new school that has started showing interest in Chase. Dutra will be traveling south this weekend to attend their camp.

Bowling Green, Purdue, and Indiana are three of the schools showing interest in Dutra. All three will be waiting to see film from Chase Dutra's senior season. "I feel offers from them could be coming after my senior year of high school."

A new school has also entered the picture in Dutra's recruitment. "Coach (Brian) Bohannon from Georgia Tech called my high school coach on Monday. He told him that Georgia Tech is very interested in me and want me to come down to their camp this Saturday."

Georgia Tech has told Dutra that they have two wide receiver openings in their class. "They told me they want to see me in person." Dutra knows that giving the Tech coaches a chance to see him at camp will increase his chances of getting an offer.

Dutra and his dad will be flying to Atlanta for the camp. "My dad and I are flying out Saturday morning." Dutra and his dad will arrive in time for the start of the camp that afternoon and then return to Indiana following the close of camp that evening.

Chase is looking forward to seeing the campus, the indoor practice facility, and meeting the coaches. ‘We have driven through Atlanta and by Georgia Tech on the way to Florida for vacation but that is all I know of the area. I have heard a lot of good things about the city, campus, and area from recruits, coaches, and other football personnel."

"I am coming down there with the mindset of showing what I can do and just be myself. I know that Georgia Tech has put some great wide receivers in the NFL the past few years and their offense is one that gives a wide receiver some great opportunities." Chase is hoping his camp performance will lead to an offer from Georgia Tech. Top Stories
