Jay Woods Narrows List to Six

Jackson, Georgia defensive lineman Jay Woods has maintained that he would trim his list of schools down to a top six before he went back to school for fall practice. Jackson starts fall practice next Wednesday and Jay was true to his words as he trimmed his schools down to a top six today.

"I just announced my top six." Woods has selected Georgia Tech, Georgia, Kentucky, Clemson, Vanderbilt, and Missouri as his top six. "I will use my time over the next month or so to sort out a top five or even a top three that I will take my official visits to in the fall."

Jay has visited all the schools on his list this summer with the exception of Georgia. "I plan on taking that visit real soon." After that visit, Woods will be go over the info he's gathered to name a top three or five.

"I have called each head coach to let them know that their school is in my top six at this point." All of the coaches were glad to hear that they made Jay's top six. Jay looks for each of them to continue to recruit him hard.

Jay was relieved to get his list to six and is looking forward to making the decision on which of those schools will get an official visit.
