Kendall Baker Hoping For Georgia Tech Offer

Marist (Atlanta, GA) defensive tackle Kendall Baker has two early offers and is hoping to get a third from the school that he recently visited. Baker was at Bobby Dodd Stadium to watch Georgia Tech open their home season against Presbyterian.

Kendall Baker attended the game with a friend who knew some of the Tech players. "My friend knew some of the players and said that the players there are real close and treat everyone as family. I saw that first hand when we hung out with some players after the game."

While he was at the game Kendall got to see the locker room, weight room and the players meeting room. "Their facilities are top notch."

Kendall got to speak with all the coaches including defensive line coach Andy McCollum. "Coach McCollum said he and the rest of the staff are very interested in me and they want me to send in more film of my play as I go through my season." Baker doesn't currently have an offer from Tech but he thinks that he'll be getting one.

"I know Georgia Tech is interested in me and I have a lot of interest in the Yellow Jackets." Baker plans on going back to see them play this season. "We will see how it goes from there"

Florida State and Vanderbilt are the two schools that have offered Baker. "I plan on going to Florida State this weekend to see them play."

Distance may end up being a factor when Baker makes his college choice. He prefers to go to a school that is not too far from home. "I want to be at a place that I feel comfortable and a place where I can have some fun and still get a quality education." Top Stories
