Marshon Lattimore Lands Georgia Tech Offer

Glenville High School (OH) athlete Marshon Lattimore and several of his teammates made the long drive from Cleveland, Ohio to Atlanta, Georgia Friday night to visit Georgia Tech and watch their game with Miami the following day.

The trip to Atlanta was a first for Marshon Lattimore. "It was a great experience and I had a great time." Lattimore was impressed with the city and the campus. "On a scale of one 1-10, I'd give it an 8 or a 9 rating.

When he arrived in Atlanta, Marshon had a chance to see some of the facilities and to also talk with the coaches. ""I talked with Coach (Paul) Johnson the most." Lattimore and his teammates met with Coach Johnson at midfield prior to the start of the game.

Coach Johnson had watched film of Marshon and he let him know that he liked what he saw. "He told me he'd love to see my playing for Georgia Tech and that I had an offer from them. He really wants me to come to Georgia Tech."

Moving forward, Georgia Tech will be one of the schools that Lattimore will give serious consideration. Marshon is still considering all the schools that have offered him. "It is very early in my recruitment, but Georgia Tech is one of the schools I am looking at very hard."

A return visit to Georgia Tech will be in Lattimore's plans. He also has some other visits that he would like to take. "Right now I will probably go to an Ohio State game and a Nebraska game in the very near future."
