Christian Taylor Takes Visit, No Favorites

Lexington, South Carolina junior offensive lineman Christian Taylor hasn't wasted any time getting to know the schools that are recruiting him. He continued his weekend visits with a trip to Atlanta this past weekend.

Christian Taylor was in Atlanta to visit Georgia Tech for their game with Middle Tennessee. "Despite the outcome of the game I had a great time." Christian had a chance to talk to the Georgia Tech coaches on his visit. "I've been in contact with them and this gave me a chance to get to know the other coaches that I haven't talked with that much." Taylor felt the trip was a positive one.

Christian will continue to make plans to visit the other schools that are recruiting him. "I want to make those games as well." Taylor is not sure if his busy schedule will allow him to make it back to Tech for another visit this season.

LSU is one of those schools that he hopes to visit for a game. "I also hope to make game day visits to Auburn and Tennessee." Christian also has plans to make a return visit to South Carolina.

Taylor is getting attention from some of the top programs around the south. He has five or six schools that he feels are showing him the most attention. "LSU is sending me about seven pieces of mail every day." Florida State, South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina State, and Georgia Tech are the other schools recruiting Taylor hard. "I talk to the Georgia Tech coaches quite often."

Taylor plays left tackle for his high school team and the schools recruiting him feel that may be the position he'll play in college.

The recruiting process is just beginning for Christian and he is not ready to name any leaders. "I don't want to start naming any favorites or leaders." Top Stories
