Robbins read about the Groh news Monday afternoon. "I know he was my main connection and really the only coach I talked with at Georgia Tech."

When he first heard about the news, Kevin didn't know what to expect. "Right now though I am still committed to them but I will have to do a few things first before I can say I will either stay committed to them or look elsewhere."

Robbins plans to sit down with his family to discuss the situation. He also wants to talk to Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson. "I want to see how things are."

Kevin wants to find out from Coach Johnson what the plans may be for hiring a new defensive coordinator. "I need to see if I fit into their plans and how my relationship with him will be."

The decision Kevin makes will depend on his conversation with Coach Johnson. It will also depend on who Georgia Tech hires to take Coach Groh's place.

Kevin was caught off guard by the decision but he understands that changes need to be made when things are not working out. He also knowsthat it may take a while before he decides to stay with Georgia Tech or open his recruitment. Top Stories
