Ramos has been keeping in touch with Georgia Tech receiver Coach Buzz Preston to let him know how his season is progressing. "When I talked to Coach Preston last weekend, he offered me a scholarship to become a Yellow Jacket."
Coach Preston let Ramos know that they want him to be a part of the Yellow Jacket family. "He wants me to keep him informed about my season and how I do both in the classroom and on the field."
The offer made Tech one of the teams to beat for his commitment. "Georgia Tech is a team I really like and it is close to home which a plus." His teammate running back Travis Custis has already committed to Tech. That will be a plus for Tech in their recruitment of Ramos. "We go to the games together."
Ramos feels that his blocking and being physical off the ball are things that he does best as a receiver. Ramos also has the knack to get by the defender when he is in press coverage. "As for the catching, I know how to catch it at is highest point and I have the hands to bring it down. I also run routes real well and know how to get open."
With the state playoffs getting ready to start, Ramos doesn't have any visit plans. "Right now we are preparing for the playoffs and that is where my concentration is focused."
