Cook Has a Hectic Schedule

Stone Mountain High School (GA) quarterback Cordelral Cook only holds one offer but he hopes that more are on the way. With visits to Junior Days and spring practices, those offers may be coming.

Northwestern is the first school to offer Cook. "A lot of schools want to see me this spring to get a good feel on my quarterbacking abilities." Cook also hopes to visit spring practices and Junior Days at those schools.

Georgia Tech and UNC-Charlotte are two of the schools that he'll be visiting before spring practices. "My schedule is a bit hectic but those are two that I have plans to visit."

Cook is also hearing from Duke, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, Penn State, Nebraska, East Carolina, and Mississippi. "The schools I like the best are Georgia Tech, Duke, Virginia Tech, East Carolina, and Northwestern."

Cordelral has been in touch with Georgia Tech Coach Joe Speed. "He told me that they like me as a quarterback and that I am a good fit for their offense." Cook runs his team's offense from the shotgun. "I like running out of the shotgun but I would love to run the offense at Georgia Tech."

When it comes time to make a decision, Cook wants to be part of a successful program that has a high graduation rate. Distance from home will not be a factor in his decision. "If it feels like a great fit for me, then that is where I will go."

A summertime decision is a definite for Cook. "I want to go into my senior year with my college choice made."

Cook lists his running ability and arm strength as two of his attributes. "While my forty time is pretty good, I'd like to get it to being very good." Top Stories
