The offer came from Georgia Tech and Davis gave them his commitment. "I am so excited. I am going to be a Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket." Davis called Temple to thank them for taking the chance on him. Playing for his home state was very important to Paul.

Georgia Tech has always shown interest in Davis after they watched him at their summer camp. "The defensive coordinator said I was too small to play at this level despite my passion for the game." Temple then offered and Davis gave them his commit.

Georgia Tech Coach Andy McCollum told Davis to keep his head up and be patient. "He said he wouldn't forget me." McCollum was a man of his word and offered Davis this weekend. "I told them I wanted to accept it but first I had to let Temple know before I officially accepted the offer."

Davis was discouraged when he initally didn't get the Tech offer but he knew he would be playing Division I football. "I wanted to prove to every one I could."

When Davis received the Tech offer, the disappointment turned to joy and happiness. "I have been thanking God for looking out for me and making my dream come true."

The Tech coaches will start Davis out on the defensive side of the ball. "I could possibly switch over to offense." Paul loves defense and feels he is better suited to play outside linebacker or free safety. "I just want to play and help my team be the best."

Davis has been described as a physical player who loves to hit. "I have a nose for the ball and I study the game." Davis has a high football IQ. "I play with passion and intensity. I leave everything I have out on the field."

Paul's family and friends love that he'll be playing for Tech. "I had a lot of the people around town say they are Georgia Tech fans and will coming up to Atlanta to watch Georgia Tech play. My family loves that I am staying in state and going to one of the most prestigious schools in the country. This is a dream come true."

Davis will have a signing day ceremony at his school Wednesday morning. "I will sign my LOI at 9 AM and officially become a Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket. Dreams do come true."
