Edwards made the trip to Atlanta Monday to visit Georgia Tech. Jake described the trip as "great". Jake toured the facilities with Coach Buzz Preston and talked with coaches Mike Sewak and Ted Roof. "All in all it was a great trip."

The coaches at Tech like what they've seen from Edwards' film and will continue to evaluate him. "Coach Sewak gave me some stuff to work on that will help me with my crossover, my ankles, knees, and footwork." Edwards also talked with Tech director of player development Coach John Sisk. "He has a good program in place and he seems like a real solid guy."

Jake feels that an offer from Tech could be coming in the spring. "I get the feeling once they see me practice and see more film of me, they will offer."

Edwards was invited back for spring practices and he plans to return to watch them practice. The next trip for Jake will be to Auburn for their Junior Day. "I am going this coming Saturday."

When it comes to choosing a school, Jake will be looking for one where he can major in sports medicine. "The Georgia Tech coaches mentioned that Georgia Tech is adding a sports management degree to their business school which is ranked in the top 15 of the country."

Jake will also be looking at how the schools have done the past few years, their facilities, and he will be asking his parents how they feel about the schools. "They will be a big part of my process and I will factor in their input."

Jake feels that the school that offers first will have a big jump on the others. "The first offer will mean so much to me and I will take a close look at that school."

Look for Jake to make his college choice following his senior season.
