Brown In No Rush

Sparta, New Jersey athlete Noah Brown has shown his talents on both sides of the ball for Pope John XXIII High School. One school from the South is looking to take advantage of Brown's talents by extending him an offer.

The latest school to offer Brown is Georgia Tech. Brown received the news of offer number five from Georgia Tech Coach Joe Speed. "Rutgers, Temple, Boston College, and Virginia Tech have also offered me."

Tech likes Brown's versatility. "I play receiver, running back, and safety equally well." Tech is looking at Brown as either an A Back or a defensive back.

If he had a choice, Brown would prefer to play on the offensive side of the ball. He likes the idea of playing A Back. "You can be a running back, a receiver, a blocker, and even have the chance to pass. That would be an exciting position to play."

Coach Speed has given Brown an open invitation to visit Georgia Tech. "I would love to come down." Brown will be looking to see when the best time is to visit because of the distance from home.

Right now the only visits Brown has planned for the spring and summer are to camps and combines. "I know for sure there are a couple of combines in April, some team 7 on 7 camps, and a camp at Alabama in the spring."

Brown hopes he'll be able to make his college choice before the start of or during his senior season. "I am in no rush to make a decision." Noah wants to get it right the first time he makes his decision.

Feeling at home at the school he chooses will be the main factor for Noah in making his decision. "I want to feel comfortable around the coaches, players, and the students." The success of the program will also factor into Brown's decision. Top Stories
