The two new offers brings Russell's list of offers to over ten. "I have offers from all parts of the country." Georgia Tech, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia are the schools showing Russell the most interest.

Russell keeps in touch with Coach Brian Bohannon at Georgia Tech. "I called him about a week ago to let him know how I am doing and everything." The two have formed a good relationship.

Dontavious has not had a chance to meet new Tech defensive coordinator Ted Roof but he has talked with defensive line Coach Mike Pelton. "I have had good conversations with Coach Pelton and he is keeping me informed about Georgia Tech and their desire to have me as a student and football Player."

Coach Pelton has let Russell know that he could come in and make an immediate impact on the defensive line. "They have moved to a 4-3 and that is fine with me. We play 4-3 and 3-4 about 50% each at Carrollton."

Russell hasn't thought about when he'll make his college choice. "I want to make sure I have all the offers I am going to get and go from there. Right now Dontavious is just taking things as they come.

Spring visits have not been planned yet for Dontavious. "I am just looking at my schedule and my mom's schedule and see what we can do."

When the time comes to make his college choice, Russell will be looking for a school that has the best of both worlds. "I want to go to a school that has great academics and a good football program." Top Stories
