Marshall made the short drive to Atlanta to visit Georgia Tech. He toured the campus and watched them practice. "I had a chance to sit in on the offensive line meetings with Coach (Mike) Sewak." Following practice, Andrew met with Coach Paul Johnson and Coach Sewak.
Coach Johnson expressed interest in Marshall and he let him know that they would be watching his spring practice. "Coach Sewak said that he really liked my film and said he would come to see me at my spring practice which begins May 6th." Marshall was also invited back to Tech's summer camp June 9th.
Andrew plans to come back for the camp. Coach Sewak will be breaking down Marshall's film prior to visiting him. If he likes what he sees, Marshall will be offered. "I know if I don't get an offer at my spring practice, I'll be the camp for sure."
Marshall currently only has the Duke offer but he'd like to get one from Tech. Tech and South Carolina are the two schools recruiting Marshall the hardest. "Auburn was recruiting me hard but I think they got a commit from a center and they have backed off a lot lately."
No additional visits are currently planned by Andrew. The ACT test will take up one of his weekends. "I'd like to make a couple of more visits before my spring practice begins."
Andrew doesn't have a timetable for making a decision but he has a good idea what he'll be looking for in making a decision. "The quality of the education really matters to me." Andrew will also be looking at how he relates to the coaches and players. A final factor will be the campus and facilities.
Marshall enjoyed the college town feel at Tech while still being able to see the tall buildings in the city. "The facilities there are great. The indoor practice facility is very impressive."
