"Both my mom and I were very impressed with the academics at Georgia Tech. My mom is very high on academics as am I." Michael's mom is working on her PHD and a quality education is important to her. "We both could tell you will get one from Georgia Tech."

Coach Paul Johnson talked to Preddy about how they prepare freshmen for the rigors of the academics at Tech. "You could see that he really cares that his players do well in the classroom and that left an impression on us."

Preddy talked to Coach Johnson about where they would like him to play. "Coach Johnson said initially he wants me to come in as an offensive tackle but after a year in the weight room and strength and conditioning program I could move over to defensive tackle." Preddy excel on both sides of the ball. "I liked knowing that."

While he was on campus, Preddy had a chance to see the stadium as well as the indoor facility. "I really loved the indoor facility. You can tell Georgia Tech takes pride in their facilties."

Preddy has plans to major in Business or Sports Management. "One thing that gives Georgia Tech an advantage is the various places to intern around Atlanta in the precise area I want to major and that to me is a major plus."

"We loved every minute of the trip." Preddy left campus with Tech in his top three along with Wake Forest and Louisville. "I will probably be making a choice from those three." Michael plans to make his decision before schools starts or sooner. Top Stories
