Georgia Tech is one of those schools recruiting him for another position. Klock has been talking to Tech Coach Bryan Cook for two or three weeks about playing for Georgia Tech. "I have liked what he has had to say about Georgia Tech and how they want me down there." Coach Cook has been watching Trey's film and feels he would make a good defensive end.
"He said he would love to get me down to Atlanta for a visit to show me that Georgia Tech has a lot to offer." Trey wants to major in business and likes that Georgia Tech has an excellent business school.
In the short time they've known each other Klock feels that he and Coach Cook have established a good relationship. "He is very open about how they want me and where and how they will use me." Tech likes Klock as a strong side defensive end. "I could see myself as one."
Trey and Coach Cook are working on finalizing plans for a visit to Georgia Tech. "As it stands right now, I will be down there around the 12th or 13th of June. I am looking forward to the visit and getting to know more about Georgia Tech."
Klock's current list of favorite's is based on the school's that have offered. The schools are Rutgers, Boston College, Temple, and Syracuse. "If some other schools that I plan on visiting like Georgia Tech, North Carolina, and Duke were to offer, it could change my list."
An April decision was the original plan for Klock. After seeing increased interest in his recruitment, Trey saw that he needed to slow down and see what other schools had to offer. "Now I will probably be making my decision in late June or early July at the latest."
"I definitely will be looking at academics as you can tell by list of schools I like and some of the ones I am setting up visits to in June." Trey is also looking for a school that has a stable staff; one that he can form a good relationship with while he is there. Location is also a consideration. "The school I choose doesn't have to be real close but not a long ways away from home."
